Under EU & UK laws, this email is being sent to you in order to comply with the upcoming General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which come into force 25 May 2018, we are required to inform you as to what data we collect and how it is processed and handled once we receive it.
In order to provide our services, we currently hold your following information:
- Company names and addresses
- Contact phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Bank Details where applicable for accounting purposes
We gather this data from incoming enquiries, ongoing contracts, new customers, suppliers, consultants and subcontractors.
This data is processed onto our system, and continuously backed up onto remote device. Our Accountant & Administration personnel are the only people to have access or hold this data.
We have a filing system in place securely in a locked office to which is only unlocked while in use by admin/accounts person. We hold our paper files for 6 years, and are securely shredded by a certified company who can deal with personal data.
Your information will only be used for legitimate business purposes. We will not transmit your information to other parties unless it is required to fulfil guarantees or insurance documents. All data disclosures will only be relevant to the particular requirements of the contract works. This information will be handled in accordance with the guidelines of the GDPR and again will only be relevant to the requirements of providing services.
We will never sell your information to third parties.
We will hold the digital and physical files on record as required by the relevant customers & suppliers, which may be up to 6 years.
